|Scope & Content||Harriet Glickman wrote a letter to Charles Schulz on April 15, 1968--in the wake of the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr.--asking Schulz to integrate a "Negro" character into his popular comic strip. This collection contains correspondence between Schulz and Glickman, correspondence Glickman wrote to other prominent cartoonists with the same request, and clippings about the PEANUTS character Franklin.|
