Charlie Brown tells Linus his new baby sister's name will be Sally. Panel 1: Linus says "Have they decided on a name for your sister yet, Charlie Brown?" Panel 2: CB says "Yes, her name is going to be Sally!" Snoopy thinks "SALLY?" Panel 3: Snoopy thinks "Sally... Sally Brown... Good Ol' Sally Brown!" Panel 4: Snoopy thinks "It Figures!" First time Sally is mentioned by name in the comic strip. In original strip the exclamation point in Panel 4 is covered over with correction fluid and there is a period instead. Strip has been trimmed and cut in half. It is hinged and mounted to matboard. |
