Peanuts Sunday strip. Sally tells Charlie Brown that their grandma wants them to write her a letter, so she asks Charlie Brown to help write a letter from the both of them. Sally dictates the letter to Charlie Brown so he can write it. After Sally sees how messy the letter is, she tells Charlie Brown to sign it, "Love Charles." Panel 1: Sally is getting paper from a drawer. Panel 2: Sally is walking with paper in hand. Panel 3: Sally says to Charlie Brown "Gramma wants us to write her a letter.." Panel 4: Sally says "It'll be from both of us.." Panel 5: Sally dictates "'Dear Gramma'" Charlie Brown writes "Dear Gramma," in messy cursive. Panel 6: Sally dictates "'How have you been?'" Charlie Brown writes "How have you been?" in messy cursive with ink blotches. Panel 7: Sally dictates "'We miss you'" Charlie Brown writes "We miss you" in messy cursive with ink blotches. Panel 8: Sally dictates "'Love Charles'" Charlie Brown writes "Love, Charles" in messy cursive with ink blotches.
